Hawzah News Agency- Hojatoleslam Hassan Zafar Naqvi stressed the need for unity across the Islamic world and for Muslim countries to achieve defense independence.
Naqvi said the defeats of the US president Donald Trump and Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu are only signs of colonialism's decline and should not be viewed as a final victory, because the structure of the system of domination will persist even if figures change in Washington and Tel Aviv.
'Defeat of figures does not mean the end of the system of domination'
Referring to political developments in the US and Israel, Naqvi said limited changes may occur in the two countries, but the ruling structure will continue to function. Therefore, he argued, neither Israel's attacks on the Palestinian people will stop nor will US hostility toward the Islamic Republic of Iran end — a point, he noted, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution has repeatedly emphasized.
The Pakistani cleric said the world clearly witnessed that those seeking to change Iran's Islamic system were themselves met with humiliation and historic disgrace. He predicted that the consequences of the US and Israeli elections will soon become visible across the Western world, where people in many countries have already taken to the streets in dissatisfaction with their rulers.
He said these developments should awaken Muslim rulers who, instead of defending the Islamic world and the rights of Muslims, are busy serving colonialism.
'When Pharaoh drowns, those standing beside him drown with him'
Naqvi stressed that the fate of despotic rulers and their allies is intertwined, saying that when Pharaoh is drowning, those standing beside him will drown with him.
He called for strategic independence for Islamic countries, saying the Muslim world must work to build its own independent unity and defense system rather than form alliances dictated by American will.
Naqvi specifically called on Arab countries to dismantle US military bases on their soil, arguing that these bases were established not to defend host countries but to support the Israeli regime and help realize the "Greater Israel" project.
Iranian resistance 'unparalleled in contemporary history'
Praising the Iranian nation's steadfastness, the Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen leader said the brave, martyr-nurturing people of the Islamic Republic have displayed a model of resolve and resistance before the eyes of the world that has no parallel in recent centuries.
He added that the martyrdom of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution has deeply affected the conscience of humanity and prompted reflection.
Hojatoleslam Naqvi expressed hope for the future of regional and global developments, saying that, God willing, truth will soon achieve complete victory.
